Hey there everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful week and that you are experiencing the goodness of God in every area of your life.
This past weekend, I was blessed to speak at Christian Life Church, in Eliot, Maine on the topic of how to resist the drift in our walk with the Lord. I’ll be uploading that message here in the next couple days, so be on the lookout!
But in the meantime, I want to share some truly exciting news and also share a little of my journey to getting here with you. As the blog post title states, my NEW PODCAST, the Higher Pursuit Podcast, is under construction and will be launching in the next 4-6 weeks! I’ve been busily creating the backend processes all while interviewing guests and editing the content. I think you’re really going to love the guest interviews as well as the solo chats.
Here’s a tasty overview of what you can expect:
The cadence: The podcast will air every two weeks on Thursday. I will intersperse solo chats about topics in with interviews with guests.
The series: The first series I decided to tackle is (wait for it…😁), ‘Repurposing Our Pain’. Sounds a little familiar, doesn’t it? In this series of the podcast, I am interviewing guests who have their own stories of repurposing the pain I talk about in my book. Each guest is going to have you on the edge of your seat as they share their stories and will also leave you with some great tools and lessons pearned in their valley of pain. I know you will be blessed, encouraged and edified by their vulnerability and our discussion on those pain points. I am also recording solo episodes where I discuss the pain point that the guest and I are going to discuss as a prelude to that episode. Those solo chats will whet your appetite and get you excited to hear what my guest is going to share!
Where you can find it: I am producing both a video and audio only version of the podcast, so once it is published you will be able to find it on Apple Podcasts, YouTube, Spotify and anywhere you find podcasts.
So keep your eyes and ears open for updates on when you can tune in and subscribe to the podcast!
In my next blog, I’m going to share with you what the journey was like getting to this point. I’ll be honest, this is NOT my comfort zone and the amount of work and learning that is going into getting this podcast off the ground has been daunting and sometimes downright depressing! So check back for the next blog as I open up about the process as it might encourage you to start that thing you’ve been putting off!
